We are Chartered Professional Accountants who have been serving Victoria and area businesses and individuals for over 24 years. Bill Bradley began Bradley & Co. in Victoria, BC in 1994 and five years later merged with Farrow & Co. of Oak Bay to form Bradley, Farrow & Co. In 2000 James Jacoby joined the firm, becoming a partner in 2004 and subsequently changing the name to Bradley & Jacoby. The company purchased new offices and moved to our present location at 732 Caledonia in 2012. Our name changed to Bradley, Jacoby, Games Chartered Professional Accountants in 2016 when Richard Games, a CPA and business owner, joined the team.
BILL BRADLEY Principal. Bill has been an owner and partner of the firm for over 24 years. Although Bill has retired from day to day work, he is still an important part of our team. Over the years Bill has owned and operated other businesses in British Columbia and Alberta including a camera store and picture framing shop in Victoria and a restaurant in Fort McMurray. Bill was a founding board member of VIATEC where he served for almost twenty years. Other community involvement includes the Downtown Victoria Business Association and other associations.
JAMES JACOBY Principal. James has been an owner and partner of the firm for over 15 years. He brings over 20 years of diverse tax, estate, financial, and business consulting in his role as a CPA while working extensively with small and medium-sized businesses. James is dedicated to working with clients on creating and building wealth through sound financial planning and accounting services. He enjoys the rapport he’s established with his clients and hopes to exceed their expectations. After hours, James can be found with his family. In the spring and summer James coaches baseball and in the winter supports his children in their hockey endeavours.
RICHARD GAMES Principal. Richard is the newest owner and partner of our growing firm. He joined in 2015 after a number of years working with another accounting firm in Victoria. Having owned and managed three other companies over the past twenty years, Richard brings his passion for business and people to our firm. Operating his companies during the ups and downs of the economy gives Richard a unique perspective of what it is like to make business decisions in diverse economic times and what it means to “make payroll”. Before returning to school in 2006 to pursue accounting, Richard was an award winning electronic cinematographer, specializing in broadcast news, sports, and documentaries. He has worked in eight of Canada’s provinces, the United States, and Europe.
DOUG BRADSHAW Senior Accountant. Doug has been with our firm since 1999. Doug strives to consistently increase his knowledge so that he can serve our clients better with their accounting and tax matters. When Doug is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping or helping at his church.
BRIAN MARTIN Senior Accountant. Brian joined the firm in January 2014 and was recently promoted to Senior Accountant. He brings a wide variety of background experience, including seven years in the hospitality industry. Brian thrives on working with our clients to bring them the best possible outcomes and solutions in a timely manner. His responsibilities include both personal and corporate tax, along with general assistance in bookkeeping, and other accounting matters. As part of Brian’s ongoing commitment to excellence, he graduated from the CPA program with a CPA, CGA designation in the spring of 2016. His out-of-work interests include participating in most sports of all kinds and outdoor activities, such as biking.
WOODY WU Senior Accountant. Woody is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 30 years of experience, ten of those with his own company. He is skilled in estate tax return preparation; Canadian and US personal and corporate tax returns; develop and review policies; risk assessments and analysis; as well as business start-up, maintenance, control and risk management, and expansion. Woody is an active member of his church and enjoys overseas travelling.
TAVARA FLOWERS Receptionist. Tavara joined us in 2015 and provides reception and administrative services. She has a background in customer service and enjoys connecting with clients. Tavara has completed her Canadian Payroll Association certification in payroll administration and has experience in bookkeeping. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, she enjoys music of all kinds, and her hobbies are writing music. Any other free time she has is spent with family and friends.
